No Board meeting in May

Firewise Spring Cleanup is this weekend May 16-18.

On Sunday (4/13/25) Citizens4Community in Sisters facilitated a forum on wildfire preparedness for the greater Sisters community. The Title was "Wildfire in Sisters Country, Part 1: Are We Ready?" Some of our Aspen Lakes neighbors attended and reported that there were some excellent resources handed out and referenced.

One was this excellent handout with many QR codes and a list of "ACTIONS" that people can do now in preparation for the height of the 2025 fire year.
Another is this “Take-Home Packet” – which includes additional resources, toolkits, recommended reading, local organizations, and more
If interested, Part 2 is on May 18. Wildfire in Sisters Country, Part 2: Are We Covered? where they’ll dig into local fire insurance challenges.

The Firewise Committee has put together a flyer with information to help you prepare for an event we all hope never happens. If we do get an evacuation notice, it is better to be prepared than scrambling last minute. Please take a look at this new flyer. Save it, print it out and post it on your refrigerator, whatever works for you. Please use it to make sure you are ready.

This year we will have 3 Dumpsters delivered to the club house parking lot for all residents to dispose of fire spreading ground cover and yard waste you’ve collected from...
